A Woman's
Guestroom Recommendations:Anne's guest room
is a beautiful space, large, bright room, cozy and comfortable. The home
is in the heart of the Annex in Toronto, a nieghbourhood of many century
homes, and trendy places nearby. Anne welcomes you to her home with
pride and openness and she hopes you enjoy your stay. I ALWAYS do. I
recommend staying here when you are needing a room away from home...it's
just lovely.

Hello my name is Sandra Carr-Harris,
I have been a friend of Anne Perera's since grade school. Anne and I
have traveled in Europe together and visited New York on another
occasion. During these trips we stayed at a variety of accommodations
and enjoyed the places as they were usually pleasant and reflected the
life and ambiance of each location. From her experience of many travels
I feel that Anne has a thorough understanding of what is required to be
a stellar host. Her home is exceptional, it's a well maintained Toronto
vintage Annex location, with cozy furnishings and it is immaculately
clean. I think any guest staying at Anne's will be more than satisfied,
she is detail orientated, knowledgeable, and very friendly.

Anne has an ideal location for
travelers in Toronto it is a cozy bed sit in a beautiful stately home.
The locations is peaceful but only minutes walking distance from all of
what downtown Toronto has to offer! It is really the best of both
worlds. located within walking distance to many museums, theatres and
night life spots, close to transportation, seconds away from the High
Street of Yorkville for fabulous window shopping and outdoor cafe
dining. Book today you will not be disappointed!!

Anne was welcoming and accommodating. She was fun and friendly. Clear
with the rules and easy to get along with. Even went to the Christmas
parade with her and her friends. A great place to stay.

Anne is a really friendly host and has lots of great advice and tips
about Toronto. The house is in a really great location- its on a pretty
quiet street but there is lots going on within walking distance.

It is a lovely area and Anne is a great host. I felt like a real
Torontoer when strolling down the road to the subway!

I thouroughly enjoyed staying at Anne's place. The location is
excellent and the small one room apartment ist very cozy and practical
to use. The view from the doorstep down into the adjacing gardens with
large trees is an added bonus.

I enjoyed my stay at this studio. I was here for 10 days. It was very
clean and had everything I needed. The location is great and is near
everything you want. Anne checks up on you regularly, to see how you are
doing. I would stay here again.

A Woman's Guest Room
Testimonials:
Second Floor Room Anne's warm welcome on a Sunday afternoon
set the tone for my week-long stay. The flat was great: all creature
comforts and a wonderful view over back gardens that make you forget you
are within a 5-10 minute walk from the central core of Toronto. Public
transport is close to hand, as are grocery shops. Anne provides a
resource "library" of current Toronto events and getting-around
information. It was a very good choice.
Susan from Paris, France, June 2015 I stay with Anne every time I visit Toronto. Her house is beautiful and
in a convenient central location. She knows what's going on in the city
and always has a ton of suggestions for things to see and do (often
free!!). Great place to stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying with Anne at A Woman's Guest Room. She
couldn't have made me feel more welcome. I booked a massage with her due
to my back being sore from carrying my rucksack and would fully
recommend this to anyone staying there. The house itself is grand &
charming, in a lovely neighbourhood and a great location. Anne is just
so lovely. Highly recommended, I'm sure I'll be staying there again,
from a very happy user.

A Woman’s Guest Room, North West Room, Subterranean with Kitchen
Anne is friendly & inviting and the room was comfortable - although
subterranean & having only one small window, so, not much natural
lighting. Having said that, Anne has a beautiful back yard and the
neighbourhood is lush with all its big old trees & flowers & I was
outside all the time so I didn't miss much sunlight. Super convenient
location and short walking & cycling access to everywhere I wanted to be
helped make this stay good for me.

Anne was very nice and very accommodating - especially since I was
making the reservation upon my arrival. She has a cool place with an
awesome back yard and garden. The room was good and the location is
great plus conveniently located to several public transportation options
with late night service. The only downside would be that being a garden
unit, the window is very small and doesn't allow for enough sunlight or
fresh air (there was an air conditioner), but for a few days stay, it
was tolerable. It may only be a problem for me because I work nights and
need to be aware of the day change. Jo |
